ADAMANT CREEPER CHUTNEY

A Simple and more healthy adamant creeper chutney. Adamant creeper is help promote bone health, relieve join pain, also good medicion for diabetes and stroke. Is a simple one to make and yet a tasty chutney to go with steamed rice, idli, dosa.


Ingredients for Adamant creeper

·        1 lump of Adamant creeper

·        ½ Lump of coriander leaves

·         4 tbs Seasame Oil

·        ½ tbs Tamarind

·        ½ Lid coconut

·        10 Red chilli

·        2 Green chilli

·        15 Garlic

·        1 Cup packed fresh mint

·        5 Bunch Curry Leaves

·        Salt as per tast

 

For Tempering

·        2 tbs Oil

·        ½ tsb Urad dal

·        ½  tsp Mustard Seeds

·        2 Bunch Curry Leafs

 

How to make Adamant creeper

1)    Heat the sesame oil in a pan and add red chilli. Roast the red chilli on a low flame.

2)    When the red chilli is roasted, No need to roasded chili for a long time it will burn and become black

3)    Cut the adamant creeper into small pieces and add in the pan. Saute for a 1-2 minutes on medium flame

4)    Add in the Garlic, Curry leaves, Mint, Tamarind, Green chillis. Saute for a good 3-4 minutes till the adamant creeper has shrunk a bit

5)    Add in the coconut and the salt. Sauté for a minute.

6)    Remove from heat and set aside to cool

7)    Grind with half a cup of water to a smooth paste

8)    Heat the oil in a pan . add urad dal, mustard seeds, curry leaves, let the mustard seeds crackle

9)    Add in the tempering to the chutney

            Serve the tamil style adamant creeper Chutney / Thuvaiyal
